What product will you be working on?

Skillsta is an app that helps users improve their social skills worldwide through short, interactive lessons based on real-life situations. The app ranked among the top 20 in the Education category on the US App Store.

What you’ll be working on:

• Designing and implementing new backend features while enhancing existing services.
• Supporting and optimizing infrastructure to ensure scalability, stability, and reliability. 
• Integrating third-party services.
• Developing an admin content service and internal tools.
• Collaborating closely with frontend, product, and analytics teams to align backend solutions with business objectives.
• Actively contributing to team discussions on technical challenges and project priorities
  

We’re looking for someone who:

• Has 3+ years of experience as a Backend Engineer. 
• Is proficient in Golang (or another backend programming language) — Golang is our primary language. 
• Has strong knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases. 
• Understands the principles of building high-load systems. 
• Experience with Google Cloud, Firebase, and Docker will be a strong advantage.
• Is eager to take ownership, drive initiatives, and have a tangible impact on the product.
• Shares our team’s values and thrives in a collaborative environment.

Working schedule
