The product and team you will be working with:
Headway is our flagship app, offering summaries of nonfiction bestsellers, daily insights, and gamified challenges. Headway is the world’s most downloaded book summary app and has been featured as App of the Day in over 30 countries, including the US, the UK, and Canada.
Product Marketing Team is a cross-functional team focused on finding growth opportunities through product changes, improved user experience, and monetization mechanics. Its core mission is to scale the product through experimentation, analytics, and a data-informed approach.

What will you do:
- Play a key role in turning data into clear, actionable decisions that drive product growth and help the team focus on what matters most.
- Design and analyze experiments end to end — from setting metrics and hypotheses to interpreting results and measuring long-term effects.
- Explore product data and user behavior to uncover insights, patterns, and opportunities for improvement.
- Partner with PMs, designers, and engineers to make sure product decisions are guided by evidence.
- Strengthen our analytical foundation — improve processes, automate workflows, and evolve how we approach experimentation, metrics, and validation.
- Share knowledge and analytical best practices to help the team grow and build a stronger data-driven culture.
What do you need to join us:
- 4+ years of experience in Product or Data Analytics roles.
- Advanced knowledge of SQL and Python — you can comfortably extract, transform, and analyze large datasets.
- Strong background in statistics and experimentation: hypothesis testing, confidence intervals, CUPED, diff-in-diff, sequential testing, etc.
- Deep understanding of product metrics (activation, retention, monetization, engagement) and how they link to business outcomes.
- Proven experience designing and scaling A/B testing frameworks — from experiment setup to long-term impact evaluation.
- Ability to structure ambiguous problems, prioritize based on potential business value, and communicate insights clearly to stakeholders.
- Experience automating analytical workflows, dashboards, and reporting pipelines.
- Curiosity, initiative, and ownership — you’re proactive about improving analytical approaches, not just running analyses.

Working schedule
