About the Organic Growth Team:
Organic Growth focuses on increasing organic traffic and conversions through SEO and content, hypothesis testing, and continuous improvement of the website as a product. Over the past year, the website has doubled in size, and the team has tripled!
In this role, you’ll work closely with Product Designers, SEO and Content teams, and collaborate with teams across Headway Inc.
We generate many ideas and actively validate them through A/B testing, while continuously expanding into new local markets. We move fast, so you’ll have plenty of opportunities to test ideas on a large audience and experiment with different approaches!
Technical stack:
JavaScript/TypeScript, Next.js + React, MUI/Tailwind, Google Cloud (Firebase), Storyblock.
What will you do:
Provide technical support for the website and our CMS.
Create and run A/B tests to identify the most effective solutions.
Work with new and existing localizations.
Implement automated tests to improve code quality and stability.
Collaborate with the team to generate creative ideas and bring them to life.
Continuously improve processes and suggest solutions for automation and optimization.
Communicate openly and collaborate effectively with colleagues.
Write clean, clear, and scalable code that’s easy to maintain and extend.
What do you need to join us:
4+ years of experience as a Frontend Engineer.
Experience with SEO optimization.
Solid knowledge of JavaScript and its core concepts.
Advanced expertise in React.js, including hooks, component lifecycle, and performance optimization techniques.
Proven experience building SEO-friendly and performant applications using Next.js.
Hands-on experience with state management libraries (e.g., Redux Toolkit, Zustand, or MobX) and a clear understanding of unidirectional data flow.
Understanding of software architecture and design principles, with the ability to apply them in developing scalable and maintainable front-end solutions.
Practical knowledge in creating adaptive, responsive, and cross-browser-compatible layouts, along with a solid understanding of HTML and CSS fundamentals.
Alignment with the values of our team (SELECT).
Would be a plus:
Strong interest in and hands-on experience with TypeScript.
Hands-on experience with design frameworks like Material UI, Tailwind, Bootstrap, or similar.
Proficiency in using automated end-to-end testing tools such as Playwright or Cypress.
Familiarity with Google Cloud Platform, especially Firebase services like Firestore.
