That’s why, I, Lisa Rudyk, Head of User Acquisition at Headway by Headway Inc, am looking for a User Acquisition Specialist to run growth across our biggest channels and help shape what User Acquisition becomes next.
The challenge you're stepping into
User Acquisition at Headway runs on millions of dollars in monthly budgets and direct partnerships with Meta, Google, and TikTok. You'll work primarily across Meta and TikTok, with the freedom to follow the data into new channels when it points there.
A lot of what we do isn't written down yet. Parts of the playbook are still being built, things change quickly, and there isn't always an obvious next step waiting for you. That's exactly the part we're most excited about and the part that decides whether this role fits you. If an open problem makes you want to dig in and find the answer, you'll feel at home here.
There's also real technical depth around UA at Headway – Signals Engineering, AI and automation, and advanced analytics. You don't need all of it on day one. It's the kind of work you'll have room to grow into, and a big part of what makes this role technically rich.
Why this role matters
User Acquisition at Headway is one of the teams that drives where the product goes. You'll work closely with creative marketing and product marketing on what we test, what we say, and what we learn from it so your analysis moves real decisions.
The product and team you will be working with
Headway is our flagship app, offering summaries of nonfiction bestsellers, daily insights, and gamified challenges. Headway is the world’s most downloaded book summary app and has been featured as App of the Day in over 30 countries, including the US, the UK, and Canada.
You'll join a UA team of 6 – people who care deeply about the work, support each other through the hard days, and celebrate wins together. We're also part of Headway Inc's broader marketing community of 100+ people across all products, where you'll always find someone to think through a challenge with, learn from, or be inspired by.

What you will do
Run and scale user acquisition across Meta and TikTok, with room to test new channels.
Analyze performance data, find causal relationships, and turn them into decisions and process improvements.
Collaborate with creative and product marketing on creative testing and cross-functional growth initiatives.
Bring insights from acquisition back to the product – your data informs what gets built.
Experiment with automation and AI tools to make campaign work faster and sharper.
What you need to join us
1+ years in User Acquisition, with hands-on experience in Meta Ads or TikTok Ads.
Strong analytical skills – the ability to find causal relationships in data.
Comfort working in a fast-changing environment where not everything is defined.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Nice-to-have: hands-on experience with automation or AI tools in a marketing context, exposure to Signals Engineering.

Working schedule
This is a full-time position with a hybrid format, and our preference is for candidates based in Kyiv.
